About Tideline Sports Performance & Rehabilitation
Built by Athletes. Designed to Get You Back.
Tideline Sports Performance & Rehabilitation was founded by a board-certified Sports Clinical Specialist to give athletes and active adults in the Sarasota/Bradenton area the care they actually deserve — one-on-one, 60 minutes, with a clinician who understands what training means to you.

A Practice for Athletes, by Athletes
Every clinician at Tideline has been injured, rehabbed, and returned to the sport they love. Dr. Michael came back from a residency at the Cleveland Clinic and professional sports coverage to build something different here — a clinic that treats the root cause, not the symptom, and actually gets you back to training. That's not a tagline. It's the reason this place exists.
What We Stand For
Four beliefs drive every session at Tideline. They're why we built the clinic this way — and why patients who've been failed by the standard model keep coming back.
Athlete-First Care
Built by athletes for athletes. We understand what it means to not want to stop training — because we've been there ourselves.
One-on-One, Every Session
No aides. No handoffs. Every 60-minute session is with a Doctor of Physical Therapy who knows your case, your goals, and your training.
Root-Cause Focus
We find what is actually driving the pain — not just what hurts. Addressing the source is how you stop the cycle for good.
Long-Term Resilience
The goal is not getting you out of pain. It's building the strength and resilience to stay active for a lifetime — on your terms.
Athletes Who Became Clinicians. Clinicians Who Still Train.
Our Doctors of Physical Therapy are active people who understand what it takes to stay in the game — because they never left it.

Dr. Jaime Loomis
DPT, MDT, Cert DN, CPT
Dr. Jaime Loomis has a passion for helping active individuals of all ages perform their best. Her journey into sports rehabilitation started at 16 when a neck injury during water sports sidelined her — and a sports medicine physical therapist not only resolved her symptoms but sparked a lifelong calling. She went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northwestern University.
As a multi-sport athlete and avid fitness enthusiast, Dr. Jaime understands the demands of an active lifestyle firsthand. Having personally managed a herniated disc in her low back, she is well-versed in the McKenzie Method and approaches to staying active while managing pain — skills she brings directly into her patient care.
With clinical experience across Florida's east and west coasts and Hawaii, Dr. Jaime brings a broad perspective to every session. She specializes in comprehensive full-body assessments, identifying the weaknesses and asymmetries that contribute to injury in weekend warriors and high-level athletes alike.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jaime plays beach volleyball, waterskis, and travels. She is also the proud owner of a golden retriever named Avi.

Dr. Megan McFarland
DPT, Cert DN
Dr. Megan McFarland has a lifelong passion for movement, recovery, and helping others return to the activities they love. Originally from Holt, Michigan, she competed as a Division I soccer player at Indiana University while earning her bachelor's degree in Exercise Science — and later trained for a professional career until the league folded and an ACL rupture in training changed her direction entirely.
That rehabilitation experience reshaped her purpose. Dr. Megan earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of South Florida and has spent nearly a decade in outpatient orthopedics, including seven years within a leading hospital system.
As a former high-level athlete and youth soccer coach, she brings personal empathy and clinical expertise to every session. At Tideline, she combines her clinical skill set with a coaching mindset — helping active individuals move better, recover faster, and return confidently to the sports and lifestyles they love.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Megan is a proud mom of three daughters. She enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, and inspiring others to move well and live fully.

Ashlie Cramer
RN, CPT, CNC, MSN
Ashlie Cramer is Tideline's Certified Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, and Practice Manager. She holds certifications in both personal training and nutrition from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and brings over 20 years of healthcare experience as a Registered Nurse.
Ashlie earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and her Master's in Nursing from Keiser University. After a rewarding career in clinical nursing, she chose to redirect her energy toward prevention — using nutrition and exercise to help people feel and perform their best.
She has had a lifelong passion for sport, which she carried into college as a basketball player. At Tideline, Ashlie works alongside the physical therapy and performance team to provide integrated nutrition support tailored to each person's goals, activity level, and lifestyle.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys working out, cooking, and traveling with her husband, Dr. Michael.

Dr. Michael Sclafani
DPT, SCS, CSCS, USAW
Dr. Michael Sclafani founded Tideline Sports Performance & Rehabilitation to give athletes and active adults in the Sarasota/Bradenton community a better option — one built around individualized, high-quality care rather than the rushed, insurance-driven model that has let too many active people down.
He is one of only two board-certified Sports Clinical Specialists (SCS) in the Sarasota/Bradenton area. After completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Cincinnati, he finished a sports medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic — where he served as a medical provider for St. Edward's High School, John Carroll University, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Cleveland Indians.
From Denver, he served as medical director for the Queen City Rugby Club and worked with the Denver Major League Rugby team. He later served as contributing faculty for the University of St. Augustine DPT program and held a research and clinical role within the Sports Health department at the Cleveland Clinic Florida.
Dr. Michael is an instructor for dry needling seminars through the Florida Institute of Manual Therapy, a CSCS and USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach, and a former rugby strength and conditioning coach. He remains an active weightlifter and continues to serve as a consultant for similar practices across the country.
